About Abhishek Verma & Anca Verma
Abhishek Verma is a Delhi-based businessman whose public profile has included defence-related commerce, public affairs and philanthropy. He is the son of the late Hindi poet, journalist and parliamentarian Shrikant Verma and former parliamentarian Veena Verma. His wife, Anca Verma—born Anca Maria Neacșu in Galați, Romania—is a former model who subsequently worked in telecommunications and business. She has been associated with Olialia World and with philanthropic activity in India and Romania. The couple have also been associated with the Shrikant Verma Trust and other family-led cultural and charitable initiatives. Their names appeared together in high-profile legal proceedings beginning in 2012. In April 2017, a special CBI court discharged them in two corruption and money-laundering cases after finding insufficient evidence to proceed.
